As a Security Officer - Business Complex in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support guests and staff through clear communication, routine patrols, access awareness, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort setting.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and activity within the location, assist with directions and general information, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Support hotel operations by communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed, while helping to maintain an orderly and professional environment for guests and staff.
