Requirements

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges to ensure secure entry.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access-related logs in accordance with site requirements.
Screen incoming visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; communicate access instructions; and direct authorized individuals to appropriate check-in or staging areas.
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
