As an Access Control Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of all personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and/or visitors with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
• Document and report any access control violations, security-related incidents, or unusual observations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures, including guiding individuals to designated assembly points or assisting with evacuation protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of access logs, visitor sign-ins, and incident reports as required by the client and Allied Universal policies.
