As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment for all personnel. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with access procedures and site-specific protocols.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site policies and post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activity observed during patrols and access control duties.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment in the manufacturing and industrial location.
