As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy food and beverage location, you will complete vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible, and support security-related operations across assigned areas. You will document observations, respond to requests, and communicate clearly while delivering a customer-first presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and/or distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, suspicious activity, and operational disruptions.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unsafe acts.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, screening visitors and drivers, issuing temporary badges, and directing personnel to appropriate areas per site policy.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents, and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
