Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help control access, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior according to site expectations.
  • Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating with staff and/or first responders during security-related events.
