As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Duty in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support appropriate reporting and follow-up.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe activity across the property, and help to address unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with site guidelines.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate with property management, tenants, and/or first responders when appropriate.
