As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and site personnel. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical terminal location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, loading areas, tank farm areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and document vehicle, contractor, visitor, and employee access in accordance with site policies, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain accurate activity records.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions, unusual activity, and security-related policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
