Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. Provide welcoming customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to designated site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus personnel, visitors, and emergency responders.
