Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the flow of people and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unlocked doors, trailer yard concerns, and other security-related issues.
• Communicate with site personnel, transportation partners, and/or visitors regarding access requirements, directions, and post instructions while maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.
