As a Security Officer Roving Site Security in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a leading financial institution. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide responsive customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of lobbies, ATM areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances and access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency personnel and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and site management.
