As a Security Officer - Full Time Medical Clinic Patrol in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and medical-related support situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and help to document observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, help to manage access activity, and provide direction and assistance to visitors, patients, and staff as needed.
  • Support hospital and clinic operations by communicating with site contacts and first responders when appropriate, helping to address security-related concerns while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
