About The Position

As a Security Officer Morgue Area Patrol in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while delivering through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Be willing to receive required vaccinations for a hospital environment.
  • Be willing to work in/around a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and access control in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.
