Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer to serve as a patrol driver at a logistics and distribution location in Perris, California. The role involves monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The officer provides professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and pays $19.73 per hour. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
- Report unusual activity, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs accurately and promptly.
