Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a people-first culture built on teamwork, integrity, and innovative service.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directional guidance, and address policy-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Support incident response by communicating with supervisors, public agency representatives, and/or first responders, and completing required activity and incident reports.
