Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a people-first culture built on teamwork, integrity, and innovative service.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directional guidance, and address policy-related concerns while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Support incident response by communicating with supervisors, public agency representatives, and/or first responders, and completing required activity and incident reports.
