About The Position

As a Security Officer Rover Patrol Associate in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptions.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, documenting observations, and assisting with direction during alarms, evacuations, and/or other site events.
