As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will interact with customers and team members, communicate concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other security-related incidents.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and hazards to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
