As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service while contributing to a caring, reliable team that puts people first, acts with integrity, and delivers innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control, and enforcement of site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
