Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer serving commercial real estate and residential locations, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card and/or license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential and commercial property locations, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with tenant and visitor interactions, provide directions and general information, and support site operations by completing logs, incident reports, and other assigned documentation.
