Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, processing visitors, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries according to post instructions.
  • Monitor gates, lobbies, screening points, and/or truck access areas to help support authorized access and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, warehouse areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
