As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver License Required in Oakland, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, contractors, and/or other authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a public transportation and maritime location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, waterfront perimeters, and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with established site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed by site procedures.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and visitor or vehicle-related information accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.
