As an Access Control Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badge access, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, contractor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting entry or exit in accordance with site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery logs; issue and recover access badges, keys, and other assigned access-control items as directed.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, gates, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
