As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by screening people, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document activities. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience are preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity, policy violations, and damaged equipment to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
