As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and provide customer-focused support while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and/or authorization as required for the assigned area.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution location and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
