Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct authorized individuals according to access procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site protocols.
  • Support access control and visitor management processes for a professional financial services location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptions at the front desk.
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and/or reports related to visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related front desk responsibilities.
