As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent locations, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document security-related incidents, unusual conditions, and access-control activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
