Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily activities, incidents, and policy concerns in required reports.
Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or changing conditions at the location.
