About The Position

ProHealth Care is seeking a Security Officer to join their team. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff, and facilities within a healthcare environment. The officer will be responsible for responding to various situations, maintaining a professional demeanor, and adhering to company policies and procedures. This is a PRN/As Needed position with rotational shifts.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required.
Ability to work the location and shift requirements of the position.
Strong communication, observation and documentation skills.
Ability to remain calm, professional and decisive in stressful or emergent situations.
Ability to respond appropriately to aggressive or violent behavior using training, policy and de-escalation techniques.
Willingness to attend regularly scheduled Defensive Tactics for Security and Professional Communication Skills training.
Ability to maintain proficiency in the application and removal of handcuffs.
Comfort working in a health care environment with patients, visitors, staff, physicians, vendors and community partners.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher preferred.
Related security experience preferred.
