About The Position
The Outlets at San Clemente is currently hiring Security Officers who will take initiative and ensure a safe and positive shopping experience for our employees and shoppers. Full-time benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and 401k. This position's schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday from 2 P.M. to 10:30 P.M.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Guard Card (per State requirements).
Nice To Haves
- 1 - 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
- CPR certification not required but preferred.
Responsibilities
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all security operations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all duties according to OSHA-established health and safety standards.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with store managers and employees in the center on an ongoing basis to enhance security.
- Be attentive to any potential risks or threats.
- Patrol the assigned areas to provide a safe shopping experience for patrons.
- Be collaborative and work together with other departments, as necessary.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
