As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Morning Shift in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related situations, including assisting with the restraint of individuals when appropriate, while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented culture grounded in integrity.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and compliance with facility access requirements.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
