Security Officer Days
About The Position
As a Security Officer at MercyOne, you will provide a physical presence for the purpose of prevention and/or detection of adverse conditions which would place the safety and security of the hospital environment at risk while protecting welfare of patients, visitors, staff and facility assets. Interaction is with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications are often difficult and stressful in nature. Contact with others involves complex, detailed and often sensitive topics. The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with a range of complicated problem situations. Interactions involve gaining the agreement of others.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic Life Support and CPI within 60 days
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Law enforcement or criminal justice coursework preferred
