Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, coordinate with dispatch or site contacts as directed, and report access discrepancies or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
