About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment through strong communication and visible presence. In this role, you will assist with routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver customer service with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document access-related activity in accordance with location policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and other security-related concerns by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, key control practices, and material movement procedures.
