As a Dispatch Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will maintain accurate records, assist with routine patrol coordination, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and other communications; dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with established site procedures.
  • Document incidents, critical situations, service requests, and dispatch activity accurately and promptly, escalating information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining clear communication with personnel and responding agencies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
