As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned property areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential property grounds, common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain awareness of authorized entry procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
