About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and support a professional environment through visible presence and strong communication. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted operational areas such as loading, shipping, and distribution spaces.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, damaged barriers, and/or suspicious activity in shipping and warehouse areas.
