As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials; monitoring access points; and reporting suspicious activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and provide customer-focused service. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, package and personnel screening processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and vehicles entering designated logistics and distribution areas in accordance with site procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and maintain accurate logs and screening documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
