About The Position

Sibanye-Stillwater is hiring a Security Officer to join our 2nd Shift team at our Fairless Hills facility. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position with a consistent 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule—no rotating shifts. Our Security Officers play an active role in helping maintain a safe and secure workplace.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, conduct searches of persons and packages, and lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.
• Employment is also subject to applicable ITAR and NAID requirements and successful completion of required pre-employment screening, which may include a background and credit check, drug screening, and physical examination.

Nice To Haves

• Prior security experience is a plus.
• Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Patrol the facility and complete routine security checks.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• Screen individuals and packages using security equipment.
• Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X-ray equipment.
• Assist with visitor check-in and escorts.
• Respond to alarms and security-related incidents.
• Communicate with team members by radio and telephone.
• Complete incident reports and required security documentation.
