Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, public access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visible activity throughout the location to help support orderly operations, follow post instructions, and report suspicious behavior and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general assistance for passengers and visitors while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal standards.
