About The Position

As a Security Officer - Office Building, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, assist with visitor directions, and support day-to-day security-related operations.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance or policy concerns in a clear manner and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
