As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor screening activities. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the food production or distribution facility, including the building perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing incident reports as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns by observing conditions throughout the facility and reporting maintenance, access-control, or procedural issues.
