Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, riders, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit-related buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted locations to help control access, verify authorized entry, and support site rules and government facility protocols.
  • Assist with de-escalation, provide directions and general assistance, and support orderly operations during service disruptions, high-traffic periods, and/or special events.
