About The Position

We are currently hiring for two security positions at a client site in Clifton Park, NY. These roles offer an opportunity to work in a professional security environment focused on safety, access control, and customer service. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Valid NYS Driver's License required and ability to qualify for Safe Drive certification.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
Reliable transportation required.
No experience necessary.

Nice To Haves

CPR training will be provided for candidates who do not hold a current certification.

Responsibilities

Control access to the facility and monitor vehicle drop-offs and pickups.
Monitor and manage the secure entry and exit of trucks and visitors.
Conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout the property.
Log activities, transactions, and incidents using both written documentation and electronic systems.
Complete clear, accurate, and professional incident reports.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors.
Operate security-related technology and systems.
Perform duties outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Provide leadership and direction to on-site Security Officers, assist with training, and support daily site operations (Shift Lead position only).
