About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients at a transportation location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations professionally. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and an armed guard card or license. You will provide customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s culture.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and transportation facility stakeholders while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of rail yards, facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations through established channels.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and required follow-up information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
