Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to utility location personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and access points; document observations and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and following site-specific access-control procedures.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
