Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to offices, warehouses, loading areas, and/or other restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and/or loading docks, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns according to post procedures.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle traffic, confirming authorized pickups and deliveries, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or other access activity as required by the location.
