As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by operating X-ray screening equipment, monitoring access points, inspecting items, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting loss prevention efforts and helping to deter incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or property entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for entry into restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
