As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. At this government location, Allied Universal officers serve as screeners, helping to monitor entrances, guide visitors through screening procedures, and support a professional, orderly environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, and provide clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Screen visitors, staff, and/or authorized entrants using established entry procedures and security-related screening equipment to help identify prohibited items.
  • Monitor access points, check identification and credentials, and direct members of the public to the appropriate entrance, screening area, and/or department.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, public areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
