About The Position

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Security Officers at a site located in Cary, NC. We currently have 3rd shift available! This position offers a pay rate of $16.50/hr - weekly pay. Shift hours are 0000-0800 Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Requirements

• Previous security, law enforcement, and/or security experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for long periods of time.
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to complete basic administrative tasks.
• Driving positions require the candidate to be 21+ years of age with a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Clean motor vehicle record (no accidents, tickets, or pending traffic violations).
• High School diploma or equivalent

• Security experience
• Current PPSB license

Responsibilities

• Complete indoor and outdoor foot patrols of the property.
• Act quickly and efficiently according to Post Orders and SOP directives.
