About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Monitoring in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow for employee, visitor, and delivery access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
